Verse of the Day ("the App") is a free Bible verse application developed for Android. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

The App is designed to work entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

No account required. You do not need to sign up or log in.
No analytics or tracking. We do not use any analytics SDKs or tracking pixels.
No location data. The App does not access your location.

2. Optional Email Collection

The App may offer an optional email sign-up for a weekly devotional newsletter. If you choose to provide your email address:

It is used solely to send devotional content and app updates.
You can unsubscribe at any time.
We will never sell or share your email with third parties.

If you do not provide an email, no information is collected.

3. Local Data Storage

The App stores your preferences (theme selection, favorite verses, notification settings) locally on your device using standard Android storage (SharedPreferences and SQLite). This data never leaves your device.

4. Third-Party Services

The current version (v1.0) does not include any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

Future versions may integrate:

Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
RevenueCat — for managing subscriptions (governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy)

We will update this policy before enabling any third-party services.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on this page with an updated revision date.
